Signing in to the owner portal
If a property manager uses Habitia to manage properties you own, the owner portal is where you see your statements, message your manager, and sign your management agreement. It lives at app.thehabitia.app/portal/owner.
Access starts with an invite
There’s no open signup — your property manager sends you an invite from their Owners page. You’ll get an email with a personal link (it can also be handed to you directly).
Two things to know about the link:
- It’s single-use and expires in 14 days. If it expired, ask your manager for a new one — resending takes them one click.
- The page will show which company invited you, so you can confirm it’s the right one before creating anything.
Creating your account
Open the invite link and either:
- Create an account with your name, email, and a password (8+ characters), or
- Sign in with Google — if you prefer, go to the sign-in page and use Google with your invite pending; the invite is redeemed automatically.
Already use Habitia for something else (as a manager or tenant)? Sign in with that account and click Accept invitation with this account — the owner portal is added to your existing login, no second account needed.
Signing in afterwards
Go to app.thehabitia.app/portal/owner and sign in with Google or your email and password. If you also have a manager account, the header shows a Switch to admin button to jump between the two.
Note: Signing in with Google without having redeemed an invite shows “No Habitia account found” — that just means you need to open your invite link first.
For property managers: sending the invite
Open Owners, find the owner, and click the invite (person-plus) icon in their row. Habitia emails them the link by default — or copy it from the confirmation dialog and send it yourself (WhatsApp, text, however you talk). Once they register, the row shows a green Portal badge.
What’s next
- Reading your statements — what you’ll see once you’re in.
